	4.1 GETTING STARTED
This chapter deals with basic programming procedures for getting started with your Swatch net.invader.
Note:	In order for your Swatch net.invader to properly function, it is necessary to have an Internet connection.
Please refer to the following chapters in order to understand how to use the software for the Swatch net.invader.

	4.1.1 START-UP PROCEDURE
Before starting the Swatch net.invader software, please make sure that your computer is correctly configured for an Internet connection. In order to start the Swatch net.invader software, please click on the net.invader icon (Mac: in the net.invader folder)

or follow the instructions (WIN):
	Press the "Start" button on your menu bar Select the "Programs" option. Then, select the "Swatch" option. Finally, select "net.invader".
The software for your Swatch net.invader is now active. Please refer to the following chapter in order to understand how to configure the software for your Swatch net.invader.

	4.1.2 START-UP OPTIONS
Clicking the right mouse button will open a menu where to choose the options (Mac: See the Options in the menu bar).


	4.1.3 INTERNET CONNECTION CONFIGURATION
In order to configure the Internet connection for your Swatch net.invader, you will need to select the correct connection type for your computer via the Swatch net.invader software.
	The software for your Swatch net.invader contains the following Internet connection options:
	Automatic (recommended) Manual Internet connection Local Area Network Windows Dail-up Network Mac Remote Access
In order to correctly configure the software, it is recommended that you select "Automatic". You also have the possibility to select the appropriate Internet connection option from the list provided - and depending on your computer requirements.
	Place the cursor on the correct Internet connection option. Make your selection by clicking the appropriate check-box. Click "ok" to confirm your choice.

Note:	It is necessary to configure the appropriate Internet connection option when starting to use the Swatch net.invader or each time there is a modification to your computer's set-up.

	4.1.4 USER IDENTIFICATION
When first using the Swatch net.invader, please register the device by following these instructions:
	Run Swatch net.invader software Place your Swatch over the Cybergate Please wait until the window appears with the following message "Please register now!" appears on the screen. Click on "Sign up" Please enter the appropriate information in the fields. (The fields with the * are mandatory)

IMPORTANT!	Your PIN code is critical! Your PIN code allows you to add and remove the services in your Cyber Swatch watch. It can also be used to de-activate your Swatch net.invader and services in case of loss. By default, your PIN code contains the last four- (4) numbers of the identification number on your Swatch. This identification number is engraved on the back of your Cyber Swatch. You can personalise the four- (4) digits of your PIN code (see inside net.invader in the Service menu). Please keep this number in a safe place. Click on "OK" when you have entered all the information in the fields required and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

	4.2 DAILY USAGE
	4.2.1 UNDERSTANDING THE INFORMATION CONTENT OF YOUR CYBER SWATCH
In order to read the information on your Swatch, please follow these instructions:
	Start the Swatch net.invader software Place your Cyber Swatch over the Cybergate Please wait until an Internet connection has been established Place your Swatch over the Cybergate once again You will see a screen similar to the one below appearing on your screen:

In order to select a service stored in your Cyber Swatch, please choose one of the following possibilities:
	Place your Cyber Swatch on the Cybergate and wait until the cursor point at the service. Then, remove the Swatch from the mousepad once the cursor moves over the service of your choice. Click the corresponding number on your keyboard for the desired service. Position the cursor via the following keys and select "Enter" when the cursor moves over the service of your choice. Use the mouse You will be automatically connected to the service you have selected.

	4.3 ADDING A SERVICE TO YOUR CYBER SWATCH
	4.3.1 PROCEDURE
In order to add a function to your Swatch, please follow these simple instructions:
	Start your Swatch net.invader software Place your Swatch in the centre of the mousepad Please wait until the Internet connection has been established Place your Cyber Swatch on your Cybergate once again In the "Available Services" window, select "Edit services" The following window will appear on your screen:

	Enter your PIN code (If you did not change the PIN during installation procedure, the PIN code is identical to the last four digits of your identification number on the back of your Cyber Swatch. In this case the pin will appear automatically). Click on "OK" A window similar to the one below will appear on your screen:

	Click on "New". Click on the arrow of the scroll down menu found under "Service". Select the desired service from the service list. If necessary, introduce your username, your password or your preferred URL. Next, click onto "Save Services to Swatch" window. Place your Swatch in the centre of the mousepad and please wait until the new service has been programmed in the watch. Next, click on "Close" in the "Edit Services" window. Place your watch on the mousepad once again. Please wait until the connection has been established and the window "Available Services" appears on your screen. You will now see the new service you have just programmed appear on your list of services.

	4.3.2 LIST OF SERVICES
Any bookmark can be stored on your Cyber Swatch.

	4.4 DELETING A SERVICE ON YOUR CYBER SWATCH
	4.4.1 PROCEDURE
In order to delete a service in your Swatch, please follow these instructions:
	Start your Swatch net.invader software. Place your Cyber Swatch on the Cybergate. Please wait until the connection to the Internet has been established. Place your Cyber Swatch on the Cybergate once again. In the window "Available Services", click on "Edit Services". The following window will appear on your screen:

	Enter your PIN code. Click on "OK". You will then see the following window appear on your screen:

	Select the service you would like to delete. Click on "Delete". Next click on "Save Services to Swatch". Place your Cyber Swatch on the Cybergate and wait until procedure has finished. Next, click on "Close" in the "Edit Services" window. Place your Cyber Swatch in the centre of the Cybergate. Please wait until the Internet connection has been established and "Available Services" appear on your screen. The new list of services will now appear and the service deleted will no longer appear on the list.
